To say that I love food is an understatement. I love looking at it, talking about it, taking pictures of it, preparing it, tasting it, and most of all… sharing it with friends and a (few) glass(es) of wine. This hasn’t always been the case (more on that later). Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I have a thing for ethnic food and fresh produce at farmers markets (I have found after my recent move to Boston that not all cities have farmers markets year round – sad day).
I’m not a chef – I work full time, 40+ hours a week doing the 9-6 M-F. My love for food is merely a hobby to fill my time when my work day is done. But during the day I search through blogs, food websites and food magazines for new recipes to try. This is intended to be a history of a amateur chef in (self) training trying out new recipes from Italian to Mexican to Thai to Indian. I love good food and I love learning new things… so here it is. Enjoy.
